The Tetley Tea Folk are amongst the most iconic properties in British advertising. I directed and animated the commercials from approximately the launch of the round tea bag(!) until their demise at the turn of the century, and animated them again in the relaunch campaign 2010 to 2012.

The hand animated Ribenaberries of the late 1980’s and 1990’s (when I directed and animated the commercials) seem to be remembered as fondly as the old Tea Folk. I felt enormously fortunate to direct both of these famous properties.

As an illustrator I drew all the posters, press ads, point of sale work, and door drops etc for the National Lottery ‘It Could Be You’ launch campaign. I also, of course, drew all the illustration work connected to the Tea Folk and the Ribenaberries.
